just started the Ref-ex study. Module one looks exciting, can't wait to get my mind around it. I should be able to learn a lot from it. If nothing else, it will equip me with more knowledge to do my job better.

Week 14, finally something that was easy and understandable. Twittering was great to set up. I like to be able to follow things without having to spend heaps of time on reading and writing about things, this may be the one for me. With the Qld floods, it will be a great way to keep in touch with what is happening.
Week 13 and here we are at it again. Still no where with the blog thing, but everytime I use it it becomes more understandable. I do comment on others blogs, but I dont' use it very often. Will persever with it. Mostly I don't have time to sit at the computer to do all of the things it offers.

loved this application, I can see it working in the library, as there seems to be a need for a lot of reporting, it would be good to have it set up and running to move things faster, esp, in meetings, I can also see the applications in school life. teachers and students could colaborate with sharing their assignments. Thanks.
week 10. the mashups look quite interesting. I think they would be more of interest to everyday life rather than at work. the only effective thing is learning about it so that if someone comes in and asks us a question, we would be aware of it. tried to upload a picture. it takes time. good ideas in the comments section.

week 9

On the down hill run to this course, Yay!!
comment on how this would help our patrons in the library. As we are a small community, our resources are limited on many subjects, to be able to introduce them to podcasting would certainly help them find out info that they may not have been able to access. Also if the info is out of Australia, they can access the info more readily and easily than waiting for a book or mag.
